This song is extremely relevent to me at the moment, and hereing it the other day reminded me of how much I love it. " And if it comes down to me and him you know i'd kiss you better, i kept the message that you sent to me". is quite theraputic writing this down on my blogger since i think my mates have got exhausted by me talking about it. I just have to see what happens, but its all good

New Topman "Dandy" promotion

Finally i have come up with a couple of compositions for my Topman promotion which im pleased with, and here they are. obviously they echoe the style of the femme fetale images but to i wanted to ensure the images portray a masculine edge while also showing the flair and elegence of he "dandy" character.

Here my my "near" finished images that i produced for my topshop promotion based around "the femme fetale". I like the relationship between the image and text, the text being quotions from famous respected figures such as Oscur wilde.

Courteeners Band T -shirt

Another mini brief that i set my self while focusing on the indie rock music industry was to design a bnad tour t shirt. the one i produced is based on the band "the courteeners", the lyrics are from an album track "Fallowfield Hillbilly", and to me sum up the wit and outspoken commentry that make the courteeners such a good band.

V FESTIVAL promotional poster project

set my self a short brief at the start of the year to produce a promotional poster for the V festival. went to the festival for the first time last year and it was astounding how little advertisement there is surrounding such a big event. the images are based around the idea that the crowd and paying customers make the festival what it is, instead of focusing on the bands

reminising on how this years gone I found these images and thought i'd share them. the project was based on the indie rock music indusrty;producing merchandise such as the artcic monkeys promotional tour poster and an alternative album cover for the courteeners debut single "not nineteen for ever"

Three of my favourate fashion illustration pieces by Montana Forbes. the graphic boldness, mixed with the beautifull linework really inspired me with my "femme fetale" project.
